![]() ![]() I still got a backlog of games I got through the years with the idea of playing when I had some spare time, so from time to time I pickup my new2dsxl instead of the switch for portable gaming, as it's more comfortable to hold.īut before I managed to finish all that I'll probably end up picking up other titles here and there, like Strange Journey. Sadly, that experience is basically stuck in time, never to be revisited. I was fortunate to live in a dense city in the 3DS's heyday so I getting StreetPasses was such a fun little feature. I would be remiss not to mention StreetPass. I actually do love the 3D effect myself, so the last model-the 2D XL is not too attractive for me. Moreover, in terms of emulation, which I hear is excellent, the 3DS form factor really makes one harder to emulate systems, IMO. I still may cop one because I do love the 3DS library and want to continue to experience it on original hardware. And the prices are pretty much holding steady at 200 and up. I checked eBay for some XL models ("new" of course). My eyesight is still decent, but I do miss the bigger screens. ![]() However, after playing Switch for close to 5 years now, busting out the n3DS is a hard sell lol. Although I did enjoy the Sun/Moon generation. I had tons of funwith it and the Nintendo 1st party really shined on the system. ![]()
